Creative Forces

APCHI 2004 is the 6th biennial gathering of international CHI researchers and practitioners located in the Asia Pacific region. Don Norman and Susan Dray are already confirmed as keynote speakers, and we are looking forward to a high-quality, full and interesting technical programme of papers, tutorials, and workshops. Proceedings will be published in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.

The conference will be held in Rotorua, acclaimed as one of New Zealand's prime tourist destinations, with geothermal activity (including hot bathing pools, geysers, and mudpools) and redwood forests. The social programme will incorporate some of these natural wonders, and some of the area's strong cultural heritage.

We hope you'll join us 29 June to 2 July 2004 in Rotorua.
