This paper will introduce techniques of location-based and context-aware systems (such as GPS and personalization). Participants will develop a location-based system and evaluate its qualities as an information system. The lecturer has extensive experience with research in location-based systems – course participants will get hands-on experience with currently ongoing research systems.
