Computer Technology

NOTE: Where the 2014 requirements for a programme differ from those previously published, care will be taken to ensure existing students are not disadvantaged.

The Computer Technology specialisation involves the study of both computer hardware and computer software. A particularly important aspect of this major is the interaction between these components. Graduates of this specialisation have many of the skills of traditional computer engineers but also have a strong grounding in computer science. Topics include computer hardware, digital electronics, systems software, operating systems and digital communications systems.
