I have completed a BSc Degree majoring in Computer Science at the University of Waikato. I have completed a Diploma in Computer Science as well, in 1995.
My main interests in computer science are programming and Information Systems. I prefer programming in C and I am now moving on to C++. I also developed an interest in the design and implementation of information systems, particularly in Database Management Systems. Currently I am involved in teaching C++ for first year Computer Science majors. While working as a tutor I have developed an interest in education and hope to do a masters degree on Computing in Education.
Like most people in New Zealand I am also a big sports fan, and I will watch most sports on TV. I am a big Rugby, Cricket, and tennis fan. I also enjoy playing tennis, squash and table tennis as well as the odd Marathon game with my friends. I have an Amiga 500+ at home and an Amiga 4000. As you can guess I am a great Amiga fan and now that Commodore has been sold I hope that the Amiga will continue to be supported. If you would like more info on me then check out my home page.
