The site includes statistics from studies that show the number of women in computing over the years and provides other resources on gender issues in general.

This web site operates as part of the Ambassador Project of the ACM's Committee on Women in Computing (ACM-W). The program identifies one to two computer scientists in each country to become ACM-W Ambassadors. The ACM-W Ambassador for New Zealand is Annika Hinze.
