John G. Cleary

MSc PhD Cant

I received degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Canterbury (in New Zealand). From 1982 to 1993 I was a member of the Computer Science Dept. at the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I have worked in industry for 5 years as a commercial systems programmer and later for 4 years when I helped found a software company in Canada. In 1993 I returned to New Zealand and took up a position as a Professor here at the University of Waikato. I am currently working one day a week at the University and the rest of my time is spent with a startup company Reel Two.

Weekly Timetable
