Welcome
This tutorial is an introduction to the types of information stored on the Internet
and some of the ways to get access to that information.
Objectives:
This tutorial is intended to provide you with the experiences necessary to prepare
you for exploring or "surfing" the internet. By the end of this tutorial you should
be able to identify the different parts of a URL, navigate through web links, view
homepages, display graphics, play sounds and view movies through a web browser
such as Netscape Navigator.

How this Tutorial Works
This tutorial is mostly self-contained. It contains explanations and exercises
that enable you to start "surfing the web".
This tutorial is specific to Netscape Navigator.
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, then you should use
this version of the tutorial.
