The study of Design combines an understanding of human needs and desires, forming creative solutions, prototyping and developing artefacts and evaluating their impact and effectiveness in society. It comprises a well-balanced combination of analytical, technological and creative abilities.

Jessamy Topping
Design student Jessamy Topping is not only a Sir Edmund Hillary Scholar, but she is also a Design Fees Scholarship recipient, which helped her in her first year of study.
Collaborating with fellow Design students and being able to design and code her own websites are some of the highlights for Jessamy so far in her studies.
